Ifyou found Odyssey long, empty, and repetitive, you're gonna hate Valhalla. For all the good that Valhalla has, it still takes all the bad things about Odyssey and makes them substantially worse, starting with the fact that you cannot finish the main story in less than 80-85 hours with minimal exploration (gotta get them armour sets).
gettingsick of all the side quests it seems every other story misison makes you level up 3 levels until you can do it. Really don't like how it screws up the pacing of the game and story. If you follow it properly you should be leveling at a good pace.
