1290 Super Adventure R Leaking Coolant. Just bought a 2022 KTM 1290 Super Adventure R. It has about 1100 miles on it currently. Recently I started noticing small pools of liquid collecting in the skid plate. Took it in to the dealer and they've had it for about a week now.

pablo.gyds03. I'm sure you'll be fine I see two different weights of oil listed in the manual 10 - 50 and 5 -40. 5-40 mostly for colder climates. If it's really hot where you live I would change the oil early especially if you're shifting starts getting clunky. Indeed, it should be OK.

I currently have 4 KTM's including a 1290 Super Duke R. I run Mobil 1 15W-50 in every 4 stroke motorcycle I own (17 currently) and I have done so for at least the past 20 years with zero issues. You can purchase it at Wal-mart for around $23 for a 5qt jug.
