Guild Wars 2: Issue after Issue (Very Angry) Sooo, I went to try to reset my password for my old GW1 account and the password reset side of the site wasn't working, so I sent a support ticket with a newly made account and they sent me an email a day after, telling me they've made a link so I can reset it and after recovering my old GW1 account
Enter your email and password, choosing to remember both, then click login. After successfully logging in (don't play the game), exit the launcher. Start it again, and you should notice the email is already filled in. Without entering anything into the password field, click login.
If you know your login information and want to update your password, you can do so whenever you'd like via the Guild Wars 2 account page: Log in to the account management page using your game credentials. Click Security. In the Credentials box, next to Password, hit Edit. Enter your old password and Steam would captured my screen shots and log my time played, so if I ever changed pcs or reformatted all my pictures are saved in steam, 1 password to remember. Hey guys, does any one know if/how i can extract the saved password from the launcher? The story is since sometime this week when I log in (pw saved) I get a promt telling me to change my password. Now the problem is that i reset it some time ago but i generated a random one and didnt write it down (i know stupid me).

I forgot my password and account infomation. i bought this game thru steam a year ago i think it is the trilogy version. Cuz when i right click on the game in steam i select view cd key. It say Guildwars : trilogy key .. Anyways I try to play today and i select password reset. An account on Guild Wars is not the same as Guild Wars 2, even if they are linked in ArenaNet, and thus players cannot continue using a Guild Wars character in Guild Wars 2. Is Guild Wars 2 region-locked? Yes and no; users can play on both EU and NA servers without creating a new account.

I don't know if it's just me, but I am being flooded with emails every day saying my password has been reset, and to follow the link to complete the password reset. Solution: Arenanet could you please add a CAPTCHA or some more friction to the Password Reset form on your website? Being flooded with these emails is unnerving.
