I am currently having the same issue with my 2010 E92 manual. I have also had my core flushed water pump and thermostat replaced various leaking hoses replaced I do not have a control valve but suspecting a blend door actuator lever. This could well be the case for you too. RealOEM.com - Online BMW Parts Catalog
My E93 like E92's have two sets of running lights (parking lights) one inner (attached to the trunk) and one outer. My outer running lights are out. The replacement board didn't solve the problem thus that means a problem with the footwell module (FRM2) for our cars.
My 2007 335i heater / AC fan started squeaking loudly 2 days ago. Was driving me nuts! Stopped yesterday morning at the local auto parts store, bought 1 can of CRC spray-able White Lithium grease, taped together 3 swizzle sticks, removed the micro filter and I was able to give a nice spray, top to bottom of the visible fan shaft.

Not Enough Coolant Your BMW uses coolant to keep your engine at its ideal operating temperature (especially during the hot months). During the winter when you have your heater turned on the coolant from the engine is used in the heater core. The heater core is what blows warm air through your vents.
2007 e92 328i [0.00] Yes I have restarted the car many times now. I can shift up or down M1-M2-M3-M2 etc. although it never seems to engage Sport/mode (no change in revs or shift points) and if I hold the gear for more than 15 seconds it reverts back to the"D" setting.

I've been trying to get a smog and get a Oxygen sensor heater - 'not ready' code on the OBD2 reader. Previously the SES light was on, I took it to the shop who did a smoke test (no leaks), and then figured it was the MAF sensor which was replaced. I was told to drive 35 miles and go for the smog Right now, if I set both driver and passenger sides to the coldest setting, cold air comes out the passenger vents and ambient temp. air seems to come from the driver's side (ie: it's not cold but it doesn't appear to be heated either). If I turn the driver's side to the hottest setting, heated air will come from the driver's side air vents. 1 Now that its really cold the heater has decided to give troubles. Checked for operation of the aux water pump- it works. Center vent mixer dial on full hot. Cabin fan works normally in manual or auto. I normally use the Auto setting. The car will increase the fan speed as the engine warms up
If you can't see the barb because it is a solid plug, you could try using a pin from the open end (not the wire end) and push it down between the connector pin and the plastic hole which it is in and try to push the barb down, whilst gently pulling the wire back out at the same time. Don't pull too hard because you might pull the wire out (if
The Hot Coolant Supply Hose (Inlet) is #1 in that diagram. It is the Lower of the two hoses that connects at the firewall. It has a "Quick Connect" fitting at the firewall attachment point. The hose above it is the "Return" hose (from the Heater Core back to Coolant Reservoir). It has a conventional spring hose clamp on the upper connection at
